The purpose of Around Town ministry is to help those most in need in the community and to support global efforts to reduce the effects of poverty and give people the tools to become self-sufficient. Locally the ministry works with various organizations such as Shelter House, Trinity United Methodist Soup Kitchen, Opportunity Place, Family Life Ministries, Waterfront Mission, Sharing & Caring, Catholic Charities, and the Okaloosa County School System.

You are encouraged to contact the ministry coordinator to express your interest or ask any questions. This group always welcomes more hands and hearts.

Summer 2013 Project
This summer, the parish will be providing lunches for the children attending Eleanor Johnson Recreation Center. We will gladly put hands to work in preparing and serving lunches Monday through Friday. Cooking will be done here at the parish and then taken to serve at the rec center in Ft. Walton Beach. Contact Joni if you would like to be involved.
